Transect is the student-edited publication of the New Jersey School of Architecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. I served as Editor-in-Chief for two-and-a-half years, directing the outreach, solicitation, editorial, production, and promotional processes with a team of four editors. Selected pages from a booklet exploring the application of vernacular architectural ideas to contemporary practice, particularly focusing on the trulli of Southern Italy. Prepared for ARCH583: Architecture of Home taught by Carrie Bobo and Charlie Firestone. NJIT Spring 2024.
Policy Brief: SDG Goal 9 + Architecture: Architects’ Responsibility to the Street
A two-page policy brief connecting the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 9 (“Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation”) to architecture. I focused particularly on the sidewalk, the place where buildings interface with urban systems for waste, transportation, and public space, providing design strategies to address them. Prepared for ARCH583: Sustainable Systems taught by Esther Zipori. NJIT Fall 2022.
